This is NOT a quick fix but be patient! I started using this based on a friend's recommendation and it has been the only thing to help with a vertical split in my nail. The split is still there but it is not as severe and it does not break as often. I've also found that with time, it helped to reshape two of my nails which were curving in towards my fingers. Overall, ridges in my nails are also less noticeable.
