iS Clinical Develops Rinse-Free Cleanser for Women in the Military

Saturday, May 19 is Armed Forces Day. To honor our women in the military (and men!), we thought we’d share this touching story from our friends at iS Clinical skin care.

You don’t often hear about the trials and tribulations that women in the military face on a day to day basis. On base and overseas, even basic amenities like skin care can fall to the wayside. It was this frustration that led Linda Lee, Chief Warrant Officer 3, to reach out to iS Clinical for a solution.

While stationed in Iraq in 2009, Lee emailed iS Clinical skin care requesting a facial cleanser that she could use in the field. She needed a product that would remove the sweat, grime and dirt that built up during the soldiers’ stay in the desert, but water wasn’t easily accessible.

“We were so touched by her letter that [Research & Development] got right to work on making a cleanser that she and other soldiers could use under these conditions,” said Sean Francis, the PR coordinator for iS Clinical, in a press release.
