Graphic Designer
Objective: To design and manage email promotions and assist with other marketing efforts
- One year or more of hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and web standards.
- Demonstrable experience with web design.
- Jquery and JavaScript knowledge preferred.
- Knowledge of coding HTML emails and email client compatibility.

Physician Assistant/Research Department
Reports to: Dr. Joel Schlessinger
Based at: Skin Specialists P.C.
Purpose: To assist the Physician with evaluating, coordinating, providing, and facilitating care for patients in the Advanced Research Center.
Duties/Resposibilities:
- Performs initial histories and physical exams on patients according to study protocol
- Acts as sub-investigator on dermatological research trials
- Reviews patient charts noting allergies, pertinent medical history, and abnormal physical findings
- Orders diagnostic procedures
- Evaluates and communicates test results
- Counsels patients on a variety of health related issues
- Answers questions regarding medication, treatment, and risk factor modification
- Assists physician with evaluation and management of patient's status during recovery
- Provides ongoing patient care for assigned patients
- Prescribes medications within defined scope of practice
- Screens patients to determine need for further care
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Requires a Bachelors or Masters in Physician Assistant Studies
- ACLS Certified
- An acute attention to detail

Research RN/ Study Coordinator
Title: Research RN/ Study Coordinator
Reports to: Director of Clinical Researc
Based at: Skin Specialists P.C., Omaha, NE
Purpose: Coordinates and administers research studies and associated activities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This position consists of 50% interacting with patients and the other 50% spent on paperwork/data entry.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prepares patients for skin assessments
- Obtains medical history
- Responsible for charting and data entry
- Maintains a good workflow, including assisting coworkers when needed, and meets expectations of patients in relation to being on time
- Responsible for patient education including handing out educational pamphlets, giving verbal and written instructions for study procedures and dosing, and answering patient questions
- Responsible for performing blood draws, ECGs, basic lab duties, clinical photography, and telephone triage
- Assists the doctor and/or PA with procedures
- Maintains clean and safe environment for patients and coworkers
- Updates files, reschedules/schedules patients, follow up with patients via phone
- Assists with recruiting patients for studies
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications: Candidate must possess a current valid Nebraska RN license. Experience in clinical research a definite plus, but we are willing to train the right person. Successful candidates are highly motivated, responsible, organized, detail oriented, and dependable. Must be friendly, personable, and adaptable.
