I had suffered from severely cracked heels for all my adult life, so bad that walking was often painful from the deep cracks. All of my bed-sheets always had holes worn in them from my rough feet. I had tried every kind of over-the-counter cream and ointment known to man. I finally went to a podiatrist, who gave me a prescription for a 40% urea cream. It was the first thing that had ever worked! Finally, my feet not only didn't hurt and didn't tear up the sheets, they looked pretty much "normal." When my insurance stopped paying for the prescription, I found this over-the-counter equivalent, and it works just as well as the prescription did.

I am 71 years old and have had psoriasis on mostly on my hands and feet for the last 60 years. Urix 40 has cleared my symptoms. WOW!! My fingers especially the tips would have many very painful cracks, with having to wear 2-4 band aids on my hands most of my life. I even stopped wearing my wedding ring because of having to moisturize my hands so frequently. Have tried many, many things, including prescription ointments and creams. For the times when things got really bad, I would have to wear plastic gloves at night using the prescription ointments. I even have a prescribed home uvb light that I would use sometimes. My feet especially around my heals and toes would crack very painfully with many calluses. It it hard to keep band aids on, and would have to use hydrocolloid band aids which are very expensive. I would even super glue the cracks closed to help the pain. Through all my life I have been under the care of many dermatologists who have tried many things. My last dermatologist (have seen him for over 20 years) did prescribe urea lotion with mixed results. It was very expensive even with insurance. Many perscription uria lotions had a strong smell, chalky going on, and would sting painfully. The last urea ointment he prescribed 6 months ago, did seem to help some, but my insurance changed and would not cover any urea treatment. The cost out of pocket would be very expensive $40-50 dollars for just a little 2oz. tube. I searched the web and found Urea 40 on this site The price is great, shipping is free and they are easy to talk to, prompt, helpful and courteous over the phone. In summation, I know this is long and wordy, but after a lifetime -60 years- of psoriasis to finally find a solution is like a miracle. It even cleared the small patches of psoriasis on my elbows and knees. Change did not happen overnight, but within weeks of using Urix40 twice a day gradually things got better and better. I have keratosis pilaris on my upper arms. This lotion has pretty much eliminated it. Also, the lotion is excellent for my very dry hands. My cuticles look very healthy. It does the job.

I've had problems with winter itch this year. I bought the Urix 40 for the urea which is frequently prescribed by Doctors to help with this problem. It has helped tremendously. I don't have the urge to scratch myself raw any longer. I would recommend this product to anyone having dry skin problems.

As I have problems with very dry cracked feet and hands in the winter time especially it was recommended by my podiatrist. I found your website and ordered the Uris 40 urea cream and it has worked wonders. I would definitely recommend this for anyone with dry skin.

Urea cream is the best product for healing dry, cracked feet, but creams with a high urea content are usually available by prescription only and cost at least $80. This is the best non-prescription product available, and most stores charge more than $40 for it. This is a wonderful buy.

I use Topix Urix 40 to eliminate calluses and dry flakey skin on the bottoms of my feet. I have type 2 diabetes and I feel this works better than all other products I have tried including Urix 10 and 20. For soft feet, I apply after my morning shower and just before bed time. My doctor approves of the results.
Apply to affected area once or twice per day, or as directed by physician.
