Not Enough Product

After reading a few other review I ordered this foundation sample. My samples did not contain enough product to test. I had hoped to try each color separately and then once to blend the colors together. THis may have been an isolated experience. I just hope it doesn't happen to anyone else. I was so looking forward to making a purchase I was comfortable with using.

This is an amazing foundation. Very silky and easily applied. My reservation is the claim for rosacea coverage. I have slight reddening across my nose and I don't think this foundation covers any better than others. I still had to use concealer in addition to the foundation. However, I am going to buy this product because its one of the best foundations I have tried in years.

I am very leery of buying foundation online. I prefer to check the "testers" in a store. It was very helpful to be able to purchase the samples. You don't get very much product but it is enough to help make a color selection

Samples for cosmetics especially foundation that needs a perfect match typically helps. But the samples are good for about two applications and they were not enough to truly gauge the right shade for my skin. The foundation felt good but it seems like the color gets darker as the day goes on. I thought one shade is too light and decided against it but the next shade seems to be too dark and I ran out of samples before I could really tell which one better matches my skin.

I am so glad I ordered the sample. The amount was so small but enough to know if its the right shade for my skin. I love this make-up. I think I will buy the full size after I have used both samples.

I was very happy to be able to sample this foundation at an affordable price without having to commit to purchasing a whole bottle without knowing which color was best. I have very fair skin the pearl and ivory both worked nicely for me, I felt that the ivory would work best now in the summer season and that the pearl would be best for winter. I do have some scars from past breakouts and this product sort of covered them but you did have to layer a lot of product on. I liked that it was semi-sheer though because I prefer to see a few flaws than to look like your makeup is caked on. The product looked very even on the skin and smoothed over dry areas which is rare for this foundation. I did find that when wearing this foundation on a very humid day this foundation definitely did not hide any oily-ness in the skin and I did have to reapply later in the day. Overall I would consider buying the full sized product but I still find the $66 price to be expensive and I will definitely wait until my current Origins foundation runs out.

This make-up has great coverage and a little goes a long way. I have a roscea and it did a good job hiding it but was too drying for my face, which is my other problem. Even just a few minutes after putting the foundation on my skin began to flake.

Thoroughly cleanse face. Apply a stroke of each makeup sample on a cheek using a brush or a makeup sponge. The color that disappears is the right shade of foundation.
