So I purchased this for myself. I have adult acne. I went my whole teenage life acne free, but as soon as I entered my twenties my face exploded. I get a lot of blackheads and cystic acne. Using the Clarisonic Mia 2 daily, I have been able to get, for the most part, my acne back in check. I wont say Im 100 percent clear, because I am not. BUT my skin is so much clearer because of the Mia 2. I have tried every over the counter cleanser, and I have tried many prescribed treatments as well (via my dermatologist). Most of those treatments are to harsh for my skin. With the Mia 2 I can choose what cleansers I use, and still get a deep clean because of the "sonic" scrubbing from the brush head.
