UVA and UVB rays cause damage and signs of aging but some ingredients in sunscreens can be irritating for those with sensitive skin. CoTZ Face Prime & Protect SPF 40 - Non-Tinted is made without harsh ingredients so it is ideal for all skin types. The formula uses physical sunscreen ingredients to deflect UV rays and help prevent skin cancer as well as signs of aging including fine lines, wrinkles and dark spots. Because the formula is un-tinted and sheer, it is ideal for fair tones and will not leave a white cast on the complexion. It provides a matte finish and applies easily under other makeup products without leaving a greasy texture. This sunscreen is free of fragrances, parabens, oil and preservatives so even sensitive skin types can use it.

Great for oily, acne-prone skin!

This is a physical sunscreen that is oil-free. It isn't exactly matte, but better than most. It is fungal acne safe. I am fair and don't notice a white cast. I mix this with the tinted version sometimes, instead of wearing foundation. It is fragrance-free and does not make me itch or breakout.

Great for sensitive skin but I wish there was more shades

This sunscreen is the best. It has a matte finish so it's perfect as long as I put on a moisturizer first. The only reason I put 4 stars instead of 5 is that there are only two shades. I have a fair/light skin tone so the tinted one is a little warm on me and the non-tinted shade leaves a white cast so I have to mix the two shades together which is a bit of a hassle. Wish there were a few more shades.

Amazing for extremely sensitive skin.

I have combination (more so leaning to dry) skin with eczema and rosacea. All of the other sunscreens I've used in the past have flared up one condition or the other; however, this particular product makes my skin feel and look great. I haven't experienced any adverse reactions while wearing this; my skin is thoroughly protected with no irritation whatsoever. This also makes your face look as if it was airbrushed (thanks to the silicones in it), so that's a bonus. Now, onto my opinions on the colour. Although I'm extremely pale, I still see an observable white-cast when applying a sufficient amount of this product. To combat and completely negate this, I mix this in with the tinted version of this sunscreen to achieve an accurate skin tone match for me. This is overall an amazing product.

Excellent spf for fungal prones!

For years, I avoided cyclopentasiloxane based products. I was convinced that it triggered my seborrheic dermatitis. However, in the past year, I've been revamping my skincare routine based on "fungal safe" products and the Cotz spf always seems to figure prominently on that list. I decided to take a chance and I'm so glad that I did. I use the untinted for my neck and the tinted on my face. The texture is very different. Someone described it as a bit like peanut butter.
