Hard on Skin

It's ok. I was looking for a physical exfoliant since I got rid of my Clarisonic. This is ok. It has small beads, but they can get rough if you use some elbow grease. But overall the chemicals feel a bit harsh on my skin (and my skin likes exfoliation). It also has a chemical taste if it gets in/near your mouth (I know, I know, but it happens).

Great mask!

My skin feels hydrated and smoother after using this mask. It used to be part of the Dermalogica Age Smart series. The company has renamed it. I use it just once a week to make it last longer, but I do think it's a good deal when on sale. Recommend!

A little pricey but good

I’ve used this product for about two years. Every Esthetician I’ve seen and mentioned that I use this has told me it’s one of the best exfoliating cleansers. I use it in the morning to not only cleanse my face, but because of the microbeads in it the product is also great for guys like myself who are prone to in-grown facial hairs (especially on the neck) after shaving. The thermofoliant is good at lifting the stubble out of the skin and preps it well for a smooth and close shave.

Favorite exfoliant

I have sensitive skin and struggle now with dry skin due to medical reasons. I have to use heavy lotions for that, but skin builds up fast. This works wonderfully for me to sloth off the dead skin so the moisturizer can do its work.

The best of all

I've used so many types of scrubs -- even the SkinMedica -- but this remains my absolute favorite. Smooth Skin without Irritation!

I've been using a Retinol product from my dermatologist for exfoliation with good results, except that daily use became too much for my skin. My esthetician recommended Dermalogica Ultra Calming cleanser to calm my skin and Multivatmin Thermafoliant to slough away the dead, dry skin resulting from the Retinol. The Demalogica products are in a word: great. They do what they say they will do. I cut down my Retinol to 2-3x per week, use the Ultra Calming cleanser twice per day and the Multiviatmin Thermafoliant 2-3X per week. The tube of Thermafoliant is large - it will last me a long time. It leaves my skin smooth and clear. Highly recommend both of these Demalogica products.
