Effective serum

I have been using this serum for over a year and have been very pleased with the results. My skin appears softer and more even overall. The product also provides gentle, yet much needed exfoliation. Because of this, I use this product every other night, rather than nightly. On the nights, I do not use the serum, I use the Dr. Dennis Gross Exfoliating Pads. These products have worked well on my sensitive, combination skin.

Great retinol antioxidant serum!

This product feels great and really helped introduce me into the world of retinoids. Now, I use a much stronger retinoid but still alternate between this product sometimes. No irritation whatsoever, and no dryness normally associated with retinol-containing serums. It feels so nice on and you can really tell a difference in skin tone when you wake up the following morning. My skin feels much less oily the following morning when this product is used. It goes a long way! It was so nice that I purchased my mother a bottle and she LOVES IT! Dr. Dennis Gross products are all fantastic in my opinion and this one does not disappoint!

I have struggled for years to find a retinoid/retinol product that is strong enough to keep my adult acne at bay (and at 36, to help stave off the signs of aging) but not so aggressive that my skin becomes irritated or over-exfoliated. I have combo-dry skin and live in a high altitude, desert climate, so I do follow this product up with a good moisturizer. For oilier skins or those living in more humid climates, however, I could see this being a multi-tasking antioxidant/retinol/moisturizing powerhouse of a product.

It's pretty good, but not my favorite.

Serum is ESSENTIAL! I fell in love with the sample & am very loyal to PTR. I ordered 2 full size bottles, but it doesn't seem to absorb well as the weather gets colder. It's a great serum, but I have really high expectations.
