Intended for those with oily, non-sensitive skin who have seen success using Face Solution 5% and Face Solution Plus 10%, this spray uses a blend of 12% glycolic acid and salicylic acid to remove dirt, oil and debris. With regular use, you can purify pores and dissolve blackheads. It’s also great for minimizing post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and for applying directly to back acne.

Glyderm is Doctor Recommended

When I had a full facial laser, the plastic surgeon told me to use Glyderm for 2 weeks prior to the procedure. It's a good strong glycolic acid that will exfoliate your face. I love it and prefer the lotion to the solution, but will take whichever is available. It will keep your skin nice and smooth. The product arrived immediately within about 2 days in perfect condition. I received some samples which I also liked.

This is a rather strong solution that tingles when first applied. Directions state to start slowly and check your skin for reactions. I’ve used it previously and know how it works on my skin so I wasn’t concerned about the tingling effect and knew what to expect. I’m pleased with the product; it is what I was looking for.

Not what I expected

I had high hopes for this product since it has 2% more glycolic acid than the brand I typically use but has since been discontinued. I was disappointed with the oily residue it left on my skin and didn't feel the tingle I expected.

Great product!

I usually use Glyderm lotion lite plus 10 solution and love it. Although this is the first for plus 12 solution, it's the same great product. Gives a slight tingling upon applying but gives great coverage. I have been using this Glyderm product for over 20 years and absolutely love them.

Disappointed that alcohol is the primary ingredient

I did feel a tingling sensation when I tried this product, but I'm not sure if that was the 12% Glycolic Acid or the Alcohol--which is the primary ingredient. It's unfortunate that GlyDerm didn't use witch hazel or distilled water as their primary ingredient. I've always been advised by dermatologists and aestheticians that alcohol is overly drying and will cause the skin to overly produce oil in response. Also, alcohol in no way adds to the effectiveness of the glycolic acid.

This product is quite strong, so ensure your skin is used to salicylic and glycolic acid before trying. That being said, Ive found this product to be quite effective with my oily, hormonal acne adult skin. It is drying, so you may need to start with every other day and then progress to daily. It has noticeably reduced the hyper pigmentation from prior acne.

Great product, although as others have mentioned it is strong and smells kind of like medicine. However, it does do what it claims in exfoliating the skin and keeping it clear. If you are using other gyl. products, I would recommend using sparingly, or substituting this product for the others. The price is reasonable and it will last a pretty long time. I have just starting using it, but so far I have not noticed any irration, IT does dry out the skin a bit, so I would use a mouisterizer in addition to this great product. Thanks
