Elevated exfoliation

I needed help with some peri-menopausal skin issues with black heads and clogged pores on my nose and chin. Retin-A alone was not helping. I started adding the 15 percent glycine rejuvenating lotion and have now stepped up to the 20 percent. This product is not buffered like what you will get in cosmetic retail establishments, therefore this product will deliver more cosmeceutical/ medical grade result. Do not overuse this product or use at the same time as Retin-A. I am planning to use this every other night and Retin-A on the other nights as recommended.

Love this lotion

Years ago my dermatologist recommended I start using a product that contains glycolic acid in it to help with acne, sun damage, and wrinkles. I researched several products and I chose Glytone Rejuvenating Lotion and have been using it for 15 years. I have always had oily skin and the thought of putting a moisturizing cream on my face was not appealing because it always felt greasy afterwards. Glytone Lotion goes on like a liquid and it spreads easily without rubbing and dries immediately with no greasy feeling whatsoever. My skin tone has evened out and it also helps with wrinkles because of the glycolic acid. I like it so much I have never considered switching.

Most Efficacious AHA

I have used Glytone products for 20+ years. According to my husband, who is a pharmaceutical scientist, the glycolic acid in the Glytone products, is the purest on the market!! This particular lotion is very light, but used it sparingly because the AHA is 20% and very effective for wrinkles and fine lines! Too much and it can be irritating on sensitive skin. .Glytone's products are reasonably priced and extremely efficacious!!

Love Glytone!

I love the Glytone products since I have read they are at the proper free acid value. Not sure I remember the details of free acid value but what I had read was convincing. Glytone has been a mainstay ever since. I used the Glytone 20 Rejuvenating cream but found since it is thick, it tends to sting longer and be more irritating to me. This lotion is very thin and matte, and does what it should without as much irritation or thick feeling. It''s perfect. Been using it for years. You definitely have to work up to this strength so be sure to be educated about working up to the higher % glycolic acids. One tip, I do find that if I add a moisturizer on top of any glycolic lotion, it seems to trap the glycolic and makes my face sting longer. I could be wrong but I use this alone.
