This powder does not work well on oily skin.

I tried using this pressed powder for a few days with different products before writing this review. I first wore it over a makeup primer as per normal. Barely 3 hours later, the powder separated around my nose area where it tends to get oily. It was a sticky, patchy mess. Next, I tried using a setting powder on top of it but it did little to help and made it worse. I even used a setting spray, but got the same bad result. It was fine on the rest of my face where it does not get oily and provides a natural, lightweight coverage without being cakey. I will be using this for light touchups during the day and avoid powdering my nose to avoid anymore embarrassment.

Perfect Mineral Makeup

Purchased it when we visited Omaha and was able to stop in at the LovelySkin store. I was going to wait until we returned home to try it since I had a foundation with me that I was happy with. Well, I was so curious to try it as we were going out for dinner, and I just wanted see how it would perform. LOVED IT. Now my former foundation, is my backup for just running errands until it runs out. LovelySkin, please keep Mirabella in stock. As a woman of color with yellow undertones, the V shade is a perfect match for me. It goes on smoothly with no hint of irritation. I will keep this shade on my Wish List until it is back in stock.
