Product Overview

ReTress Shampoo is specially designed to calm irritation on the scalp, using a blend of essential oils. It contains a patented and proprietary ingredient complex to support natural blood flow to the scalp and support the normal anchoring of existing hair. A blend of peppermint and spearmint oils leaves the scalp feeling cool and refreshed. It contains NO SULFATES, so it may not lather, but it does an exceptional job of leaving hair clean, soft, and more manageable. It is also safe for permed and color treated hair.

Just ok

I wouldn't say I noticed much of an improvement since using the shampoo, it does an incredible job cleansing the scalp but it used to dried my hair so I started to use it just once per wash and then my regular shampoo. Had to switch because I dyed my hair and it was taking the colour very quickly.

Love it. More hair, thicker and rinses out well. A little goes along way

In 2020 I lost about 50% of my hair. It had been falling out in clumps. This was devastating. I went to my dermatologist and this shampoo was on his list of things to do to stop my hair from falling out and to help it grow back. Fast forward 6 months later, my hair has grown and filled in. I have many different lengths of hair now. This product along with a vitamin regime gave me my appearance and confidence back. My dermatologist office was on the other side of the city so I looked online for this shampoo and conditioner and found it on lovely skin for the same price but got 20% for signing up for bi-monthly shipments. It Works

I kept suffering from periodic hair fall until I found the ReTress system, and every time I try to use a different shampoo/conditioner (usually for cost considerations), the problem recurs. For maintenance, I generally only use the shampoo and conditioner, and my hair does fine; if I seem to be experiencing greater hair loss than normal, I simply add the serum back into my routine until the problem resolves and then taper it off. FYI, I am in my early 40's and do not have any medical diagnosis (hypothyroidism, etc.) that would cause hair loss, so I can not speak to how well it would work in that situation.

Helps with fallout

This shampoo did seem to help with fallout that I get from thyroid issues. However, my scalp is sensitive and it did not seem to agree with me. Overall, I didn't love the smell and lather of this shampoo. For fallout, I prefer the Revitalash thickening shampoo, which is also sold by LovelySkin.

It works

I've had intermittent hair loss over the past few years from stress and medications. Using ReTress shampoo & conditioner has helped me regrow hair. I love that it's sulfate-free and has a light scent. It seems to take me more of it to wash my hair than other sulfate-free shampoos I've used, but I only wash 1-2x a week, so I'm fine with that.
