Prior to my purchase of Alterna Caviar Anti-aging cream, I was using Alterna Bamboo Smooth creme which has been discontinued. So far I like this new cream as it is very similar to the Caviar cream. I rub a pea sized drop into my hands and lightly run it through my fine frizzy hair, focusing on the ends, without making it greasy or sticky. So far so good.

I bought this after seeing a YouTuber rave about it and after reading the later reviews of the product on LovelySkin—I rarely by beauty products on any other site. My hair is very fine and I’ve found after several uses that too much product will over moisturize my hair—the less I can get by with (very moisturizing), the better. I know fragrance is a no-no in most products, but I just love the scent!

This Caviar Cream Really Works!
I have tried a lot of products for my thick, curly/wavy and at times unruly hair. Nothing helps calm the frizz here in the Pacific Northwest like this product--the only thing that comes close is Bumble and Bumble! It also smooths hair and makes it shiny. Have not tried a straightener yet to determine its protective qualities, but will in the next few weeks. You also don't need to use a big glob--a little goes a long way! Not giving it a 5/5 yet because I have not tried it with a hair dryer/flat iron.
