Not for sensitive skin.
With the lure of natural ingredients that would be gentle on sensitive skin, I decided to give BareMinerals try. After a few weeks of using the BareMinerals foundation, blush, and eyeshadow I starting developing a severe allergic reaction - unbearably red, puffy, itchy skin around my eyes and cheeks. Ive experienced irritation from other cosmetics, but never to this extent. After researching possible causes for such a severe allergic reaction, I discovered the crystalline structure of bismuth oxychloride - one of BareMinerals main ingredients - has edges that can “poke” the skin. It took days for the swelling and itching to fully subside.
