This vitamin C booster firms my skin like magic. I never ever have any firming result as this cream does to my skin. I can see skin brightness on the overall of the skin but acne marks are still there. It does sting for a couple minutes when I first put it on. I wish I found this cream sooner. I've been using DCL C Scape Body Lotion, and I love it so much, but not sure why I didn’t try any other products of DCL up until now.

I purchased this on recommendation from Sali Hughes column, as well as Caroline Hirons, who both used this to rid themselves of discoloration from melasma. Hughes' column was so amazing, I went out and bought it immediately. When I first started using it, it burned like the dickens. The first two weeks was almost unbearable, and it irritated my skin around the corners of my mouth. But I persevered because reviews were so good. My skin has finally accepted it, it only itches now. But after 7 weeks of consistent use every night, it hasn't budged my melasma one bit. It's still as dark as ever. I plan to use the entire bottle in the hopes that maybe I just have to give it more time. I have dark olive skin, if that makes a difference and developed my melasma after the birth of my child 2 years ago. Giving it 3 stars because it does make my skin around my hyperpigmentation brighter, and I''ve had minimal breakouts since it.

I love this serum and actually use it during the day because my skin can tolerate the level well. I wanted the high dosage but can’t use at night because I use retin A at night. If you have trouble with piling then just spread lightly to get it distributed and then press it in the rest of the way. Makes my skin glow and has surely helped with fading discoloration and even my skin tone. Will continue to repurchase.

My favorite Vitamin C!
This is a very potent vitamin c serum! There are definitely pros and cons to this product though. Pros: Love that it's an airless pump, smells great, works very well at brightening the complexion, fades dark spots with continued use, doesn't break me out, doesn't irritate my skin(my skin is used to vit c though), slightly hydrating, and basically really does what it's supposed to! Cons: Expensive, pump doesn't push out enough product sometimes, it's kind of difficult to spread around your whole face, it's very gritty, if you rub too much it starts to ball up, if you use too much it will burn and irritate your skin(especially at the nasolabial folds and corners of mouth), and it's honestly a little annoying to wash off. Kind of leaves a film on your skin. Out of all the pros and cons, it's worth it to me since it really does it's job! I would probably repurchase if I couldn't find anything comparable at a more affordable price. I am a skincare blogger and try TONS of products, so any hassle that comes with this, I can definitely deal with for the end results! Hope I was helpful!
