I think this definitely helps. For one, with other spot treatments, I've tried from my dermatologist to help dry out the blemish, I like that DCL does not dry out my skin, because that makes it so hard to cover with makeup as the blemish heals. I also know that with another spot treatment I never noticed any improvement, just dry skin around it and the blemish getting slightly worse or staying the same. This DCL works, it's of course not overnight, but my blemishes don't go out of control. The truth is I don't know if there might be a better one out there, but I am happy with my purchase.
