Active Moist is a very nice, lightweight moisturizer, that smells great (fades after application) and dries down without any tackiness. I only gave 4 stars because it made my cheeks red after applying. I wasn’t sure if I was going to have a reaction (on my cheeks) to it so I only use it on my forehead now. So far (it’s only been 2 weeks) I haven’t had a reaction or any breakouts on my forehead. I feel like this moisturizer is best for normal to oily skin types. My cheeks definitely need more moisture than this. I do believe it’s oil-free, which is a plus. Dermalogica is a very good skincare company. I know it’s a good brand, recommend by dermatologist, but has a higher price point. If your looking for a great smelling, oil-free, lightweight moisturizer with very good (but many) ingredients, give this a try.

I bought this to try using in my morning routine alternately with another, more expensive and heavier moisturizer, and it turns out to have been a good purchase for this purpose. I use this every other morning in my skincare routine and it provides light moisturization (I have combination skin) and so far has not caused any breakout issues (I also generally suffer from adult acne). Good purchase! I think this could be used by persons with mature skin who are looking to use a lighter product occasionally or daily by someone with younger skin that might not need the same type of anti-aging skincare.

This product is the best moisturizer I’ve yet to use. It goes on silky smooth, it has a very faint fragrance which is pleasing and usually is gone within an hour or less. It’s not tacky and adheres well to the Vit C serum I use underneath. I can usually get through my day without feeling like my face is dry and in need of more moisturizing. A great product.
