I have been using Dr. Hauschka's clarifying clay mask for several years. I typically find it difficult to remove, as it stains my washcloths. I finally purchased this sponge and it is perfect for removing the clay mask. It does feel a tad rougher than I expected, but I assume it is fine since Dr. Hauschka is pretty serious about being gentle and never harsh to the skin. It is fabulous for removing every bit of the clay mask, without staining the sponge.
