I used to like this for the winter months, but it’s thick and leaves me greasy. Easy to apply, pump works well and goes on smooth. Easy to apply makeup over but bring your oil absorbing blotters.

At first it really did seem to be helping the perioral dermatitis I get around my nose and mouth but as we continue to get into the colder winter months and after using it for over a month I’m unfortunately not seeing much of a difference. I also notice that I have been getting what seems to be large red pumps that feel like acne or maybe a zit will come through. The bumps hurt to the touch and then disappear as quickly as they came. This lotion-like moisturizer has a thin texture, yet it is very moisturizing, maybe even more so than the pm version. It spreads and absorbs well but leaves a slight shine on your face. It is maybe just a touch sticky. It is unscented but seems to have a little masking scent added, but it does not linger.

This moisturizer was too heavy for daytime for my combination skin. I ended up using it at bedtime instead. It didn't absorb into my skin as much as I would have liked...left it feeling kind of sticky/tacky to touch even at night. I love most of the EltaMD products I have bought, just not this particular one. I'm sure this moisturizer is a great match for somebody else's skin...but not mine.

I really wanted to like this moisturizer but it really dried me out :( I have dry sensitive rosacea skin so i was looking for a fragrance free moisturizer that wouldn't irritate my skin i thought this might be the one. But it's not moisturizing enough for me. I'm gonna try to add an oil booster to it and see what happens, hopefully that helps. We will see. If not I'm back to the drawing board :(
