This may protect your skin from the sun, but it is not moisturizing enough for very dry skin. Several hours after applying, my skin does not feel well moisturized.

I think this is probably a great sunscreen, but it was just not for me. It went on too greasy and never seemed to soak in all the way. Plus, it made my skin burn when applied. Thankfully, I was able to return it.

Good sunscreen a bit thick for face
I ordered the 3oz tube by mistake and figured that I should try it because Elta MD puts out excellent products. I found that the spf 30 is too thick for me to use on my face and it isn't transparent ( sheer ) but I have found it is excellent for my neck, chest and arms. I'm giving it 3 stars because of the thickness but some one else may prefer the heavier cream. it is an effective broad band sunscreen. I prefer the EltaMD UV Clear spf 46.

Good moisturizer with SPF
I was looking for a product with SPF that didn't dry out my skin like some SPF products do. This one is a good moisturizer that doesn't leave white residuals on my skin. I use it on my neck, chest and hands since I use a tinted moisturizer with SPF for my face. However, it has too rich texture for me. For my next purchase, I will be looking for something with the lighter texture.

Ok but not as moisturizing as I'd hoped
I have been using the tinted EltaMD UV Elements Broad-Spectrum SPF 44 for years and love it. I wanted an untinted, moisturizing sunscreen for my neck and chest. This one is ok, but leaves a bit of a white cast and isn't as moisturizing as I had hoped.

This EltaMD facial sunscreen was given to me in a gift package from my dermatologist prior to my facial laser treatment. It has a wonderful consistency and absorbs nicely without any white residue. If you can tolerate chemical sunscreens, I think this product would be suitable for you. My sensitive, reactive skin just didn't like it at all.

I dont use this on my face since it would break me out. It is a very nice product, but expensive for the amount to be used on the body. I like that it comes in a tube...I used another sunscreen by Elta and it was hard to get the last of the product out of the pump bottle.
