Not a fan
This is my least favorite sunscreen in the EltaMD UV line, and I've used most of them. The texture is very thick, hard to spread, and leave white cast on your skin. Worst part is it's impossible to wash off with regular body wash, you have to use makeup remover or shower oil, which if you don't have handy is inconvenient. I'd recommend staying away from this one and look at other EltaMD waterproof sunscreens instead.

For the price it's not a good deal. I love their other products and the 50 UF was fine. This one went on like just the cheap zinc based sun lotions that goes on and turns your skin grey.

White Residue Galore
This caught my attention due to its good ingredients but sad to say that it left a white residue and made me look like a ghost. I am usually tan in the summer time, and I cannot be walking around the beach looking like a have grayish skin.

not the formula for me
This was given a high rating by the Environmental Working Group, so I purchased it with help from other reviews. It keeps the sun out, but it also feels like it seals my skin so that it cannot breathe. I will finish the tube using it on my arms, but not on my face. Ill keep looking for a non-chemical sunscreen.

Poor Protection
I was eager to try this mineral sunscreen, since I love the Elta MD UV Clear Suncreen. This UV Pure has a nice fluid texture, applies easily and is fragrance free, but that is where the good qualities about this sunscreen end. It leaves a slight white cast (though this was hardly noticeable on my very pale skin), and it is extremely water resistant, far more water resistant than I need a sunscreen to be 99% of the time (I had difficulty washing the residue off my hands with soap and water). But the biggest reason I wont keep using this product is that I burned slightly when I used it, which makes it a rather useless product for me.

it's an OK sunscreen
It made my face white but i know i was protected. I lovee their Elta MD spf 46. so light and non-whitening!
