I've been a loyal user of EltaMD products for several years now. And just recently I tried this one. I was not surprised how nicely this went on and how it nice it felt on my skin. If you're looking for a good all around facial AND body sunscreen, you've come to the right item. I use this on my face during the week while I work in an office for the most part of the day, and during the weekend I apply it to my face and arms. This lotion does NOT feel greasy nor does it feel heavy on your skin. I have combination skin but my face gets warm often so I was very careful in selecting what I thought would be best for my skin during the summer months. I mainly need it for the sunscreen properties, but also a very light moisturizer for the dryer areas. This definitely took care of both issues. EltaMD... one pump and your face and body will thank you for it! :)

I use this sunscreen daily on my face and body. It is oil free and light - providing all the protection I need. I have been doing the HCG diet for the past year - and this sunscreen is HCG safe. It contains no oils or fat to interfere with the diet. When using it on my face it provides a light touch of moisture so I can go without any facial moisturizer while doing rounds of the HCG diet. I started using EltaMD sunscreens on my face after receiving a sample. I have very fair skin and every other sunscreen I had tried for years made me break out with acne every single day. It was so miserable that I wore sunscreen only in the summer and went without UV protection the rest of the year. EltaMD sunscreens are the only ones I have found that do not make me breakout, and I wear them year-round. They also do not exacerbate any natural breakouts that do occur. This particular product, UV Shield SPF 45, actually seems to improve the condition of my skin and help it heal, with no irritation. It is too drying for the skin on other areas of my body, but its great for my face, which tends to be mildly oily on its own. I absolutely love the entire EltaMD Product Line. I just tried the SPF 45 oil free broad spectrum UV shield 3 oz tube when I took it on vacation with me. Easy to pack with toiletries for plane travel because it is a smaller tube and very useful to carry in your purse for quick reapplies.I love the fact that it is very effective and oil free, so it isnt greasy to use and dries quickly on the skin. Again outstanding product line, as I use many of their other products too, and it is the best you can find to protect your face and skin from the sun. I wouldnt use anything else.
