Acne has never been a big problem for me, until my mid-30s when I suddenly broke out in awful hormonal acne. I was leery of switching to products geared towards targeting acne, as I am a combination skin type (not oily) and didn't want to dry my skin out too much and create even more problems. This moisturizer is creamier than most designed for acne control, and after several months of trying other products, this is the one that finally cleared up my face up again! I use it along with the cleanser and serum from the clear skin line, and though it is not quite as heavy as my regular moisturizer, using a facial oil or moisturizing concentrate along with it a few times each week has kept my skin hydrated while finally getting the acne under control. I can't recommend these products enough!

I have super sensitive and acne prone skin and stopped using moisturizer a few years ago. I gave up. Nothing worked with my skin. I moved to using coconut oil and emu oil. I would use that in the winter and no moisturizer at all in the spring, summer, and fall.
