I use to use the Red Currant Protective Moisturizer SPF 30 and had no problems with it. Now that it is SPF 40 my skin itches on top and under the skin, also my skin was dry looking and feeling. I stopped using it and no more irritation on my chest, neck and face. This is all very surprising since I have been using Eminence for 9 years.

Still have to mix it with a moisturizer as it contains reef safe sunscreen - I have yet to find zinc oxide that blends well! Love this product for my acne though their bright skin spf is also good (blends a bit better than this one).

I used to love this product when it was 30 spf, I'm a redhead with fare skin so spf is crucial for me. Unfortunately I am not liking the new 40spf blend. It goes on VERY thick, too much for my liking. It feels like sunscreen going on your face and I look very pale with it on, must apply a decent amount of water and I feel it slightly throughout the day as well. Not a fan anymore.

This is a nice moisturizer if you want a matte finish for daytime, but it is really not the strongest sunscreen out there. Perhaps good enough if you spend most of your time indoors. If not, I would recommend elta. This moisturizer feels hydrating but does not look greasy. I have found the scent to be a bit different than the red current cleanser or tonique, it seems a bit more floral.

I was gifted a sample of the Eminence Organics Red Currant Protective Moisturizer SPF 30, and I'm back to buy a full sized product. I was skeptical about the zinc, worried it would feel heavy or "tacky." I needn't have worried because this moisturizer is lightweight. It is not greasy and, in fact, leaves my face with a more matte look/feel than any other facial moisturized I've used. I have dry, flaky skin that can be acne-prone. This product delivers upon its promise, and I had ZERO breakouts for the month I've used it. It pairs well for me with either a liquid foundation or a BB cream.

I tried this sunscreen because I wanted to give eminence a try. I really like this. Before, I was using juice beauty BB cream. I like that this has no tint, but I still feel like this gives my skin a smooth matte look. It isn't greasy at all and goes a long way. So I was recommended this when I got a facial. I was skeptical about a sunscreen moisturizer because I break out so easily. This is amazing. I LOVE IT. I moved to a tropical island recently and so sunscreen is a necessity (especially because I'm so fair) I can wear this and not fear I'm breaking out. I know people had dinged this starts because it says to apply every 2 hours, but I only apply in the morning unless I'm going to the beach in which case I apply again.
