Loved, till I had BIG reaction
I LOVE Eminence products, and always have at least one in my rotation. I live in Idaho part time and it is VERY dry here, especially in the winter. My skin was getting so raw from the cold and dryness and I thought this balm looked like a good remedy. When I first used it, I loved the way it felt on my skin...very velvety...quite thick...it really is a balm, not a cream. The scent is quite strong, but the sensation on my face was so soothing that it kind of made up for it. But, then after using it a few day I woke up with a very strong allergic reaction on my face. Big skin rash, very swollen eyes. It was horrible and took over a week to calm down. I cannot say that is was 100% this product's fault, but between the esential oils and the thickness which surely clogged my skin, I'm afraid it may have. I returned it. So, it's hard review to write. Tread lightly if you get it and are sensitive to the scents of Eminence (Some I am, some I am not). You may love it. I wanted to!

Rose Repair Balm
I'm on the fence with this product. I love balms for the thicker consistency and protection in cold winter weather but this balm is thick and pastey and almost gritty. I don't know if I got a bad batch or it's supposed to be like this but it's not what I expected. I'm going to try to warm it and see if it's smoother.
