I purchased this serum based off of an influencer review. I struggle with adult acne and she recommend this product along with the a benzoyl peroxide lotion. It is a very thin, fluid-like consistency. The smell reminds me of mouthwash and/or aftershave, which I do not enjoy. I'm accustomed to using vitamin C, retinoids, andAHA/BHAs which don't cause irritation to my skin; however, the burning sensation that the iS CLINICAL serum caused was too much for me.
