Product consistency is my favorite, love the ingredients, but… unfortunately this product has always ended up heavy hours after application, and despite that it isn’t moisturizing enough for winter

This lotion feels great. When I put it on, I rubbed my face and thought it felt like velvet. Mind you, I didn't apply much, just enough to cover, and within 10 minutes, I noticed how warm my face felt. My nose felt taught around the edges, and I realized that my face was very dry. Normally, I use a less expensive oil-free moisturizer that is a bit heavier. This stuff is very lightweight. Not recommended by itself for combo or dryer skins. It left my face a bit red and dehydrated the next day, even though I applied another moisturizer on top of it. That helped a bit, but WOW. This is not as moisturizing as it is made to sound.
