Smudges A LOT!
I wanted to like this mascara based on all the positive reviews and I rarely will take the time to write a review, good or bad. Unlike the majority of the others who tried this mascara, I felt this one smudges even more than average. I tried wearing it at least a dozen times on my top lashes only and every single time, when I looked in the mirror after a few hours, I had racoon eyes. I am tossing it out and will not purchase again.

This is my absolute favorite mascara. I tend to try to use makeup to create a natural look. This mascara lengthens and thickens your lashes with a natural-look that enhances the lashes that you have without making them looked gloopy or fake. You can coat your lashes with 2-3 applications, so you are not using very much time to enhance your lashes. This mascara does not clump. I have had issues with smudging, with or without a face mask. What has helped to limit the smudging is using a good finishing powder around the eyes before application.

Goes on well, love the brush, doesn't stay put on my eyelashes
My eyelashes must be slightly oily, because I have a tough time with mascara. I usually end up with raccoon eyes within a few hours. Unfortunately, this product was no different. It might work for you if you don't have this recurring problem. I loved the brush and how it looked immediately after application, but will have to continue my search for a mascara that works with my sensitive eyes and oily lashes.

Where have you been all my life
This is the mascara that I have been searching for decades. I am 71 years young and my eye lashes fall out and grown back misdirected. Mascaras are heavy and weighty which cause my misdirected lashes stick together. This mascara is not heavy and the brush separates lashes with stroke of color. I must admit I tried this mascara as it being the only mascara on the market in a light brown. I search for mascara for "red heads" and this is the perfect mascara. It is also sensitive for those who have problems with mascara. Please Jane Iredale do not discontinue this mascara in the brown shade.

Ok but not as good as I'd hoped
I'm a longtime fan of Jane Iredale cosmetics. I have sensitive skin and eyes and really wanted to love this mascara. While it didn't irritate, I found it to be very dry. It doesn't do much to color or thicken lashes, mainly because it's such a thin, dry, formula. In the past, I thought perhaps I'd received an old, dried out tube, but after purchasing this mascara several times from various places, including LovelySkin, I have concluded that it's simply a dry mascara and not as good as other mascaras. I will keep looking for one that is good for sensitive skin and eyes but still offers some cosmetic benefits too.

Product works ok. it tends to melt on me, but it doesnt break my eyes out or burn like most mascaras, good for sensitive eyes. Doesnt last long, it dries out fairly fast. I only use mascara about2-3 times a month, so when it dries up quickly, hard to justify the expense.

This is a different color than what I have ever worn in a brown. Then I have to remember that Janes products tend to be more in a natural color scheme. I have light brown/blonde color hair and very fair skin. The color looks nice on but I am still used to a darker brown color so I am still deciding. It also is a bit clumpy and does not have a smooth application. If this mascara was not clumpy I would have given it 5 stairs.
