Not my favorite
First of all, this is the first foundation I've tried that isn't a liquid. Because of that, I was hesitant to buy in the first place. But, since a different brand has been having supply issues, I thought I would give this a try, based on the great reviews. First, I'm almost 50 and I live in a very dry climate. I feel like some of the poors (acne scars?) around my nose are accentuated by this. It looks a bit dry and cakey to me. Maybe my sunscreen does not work well with this, who knows. But I will not be re-purchasing.

I use this product for many years, and like it. However it used to include a compact sponge applicator that fits in the compact, and no more… makes it way less convenient to use:((

Good not great
I’ve been wanting to try this for a long time since you can just buy refills and is much less wasteful than buying a new compact each time, but it’s not performing well for me. I have normal - combination skin that gets oily in tzone throughout the day but cheeks are pretty dry. So far this product doesn’t wear the best for me, trying it over a few different sunscreens. It tends to break up on my face within a few hours. I can reapply later to add coverage and it looks ok, but not great. I want to like mineral makeup because it’s good for my rosacea prone skin but it is not the best fit. I feel like it usually gets a little shiny looking and breaks up and my skin isn’t super oily (consistent w/ the few brands I’ve tried). It is also difficult to get a shade match. Wish it was easier to find in person to get that right.

PurePressed Powder Foundation in Honey Bronze
It is so difficult to color match foundation online. I thought I had done it perfectly. The Honey Bronze color went on my skin and was a perfect color until several hours later. I noticed my face was really hot pink looking at the end of the day.. I think the color must be oxidizing on me, and I don't know how to fix this. I have cool undertones and I have a light to medium complexion. I like this foundation. I love that it is a powder and doesn't sit in my fine lines, it feels light on my skin and covers the imperfections. If only I knew what color I need so it doesn't oxidize and turn red.

Iredale Disappoints
I was a little disappointed in my purchase of Jane Iredale Pure Pressed Mineral Foundation Refill. It looked like a smaller amount than previous refills, although it still fit into the compact. I thought the coverage was less than I'd hoped for. The very matte finish did not seem to compliment my decidedly mature skin. I think it settles into lines on my face. Overall an expensive disappointment.

Good powder but dry looking
I do like this powder but it tends to make my skin look dry and my wrinkles stand out more. I love the liquid foundation. Overall, I'm glad I bought it for quick coverage but probably wouldn't buy it again.

Matte, but less coverage than the loose powder
I love jane iredale's loose mineral powder, but unfortunately the pressed doesn't work with my skin as nicely. I really like that it's matte, but I find the coverage too sheer and it accentuates more pores more than the loose for some reason. Could be my brush or application technique.

Convenient but not for me
For the sake of ease during these days of lockdown, I thought a powder foundation might be easier than the usual creams or liquids I've always used. Jane Iredale's cosmetics have such a good reputation for purity and skin benefits that it seemed logical to give this powder foundation a try. I wanted to like it so badly, but it didn't seem to hide anything that requires covering. I tried using it with a brush, a sponge, a powder puff - this product just seemed to lie on top of my skin. It would not blend for me no matter what. With or without primer, spritzing a bit of water on my face after application, applying it over a tad of liquid foundation - no technique I know of would get this product to look good for me. I've concluded that my mature, combination skin just needs something hydrating, like a liquid or cream.

I personally do not like this foundation powder because it makes crow's feet/lines on the face look terrible. With my other makeup foundation and powder brand this does not happen.

My Everyday Powder
I use Golden Glow in Summer and Warm Sienna or Amber in Winter. I have the refillable compact. No real complaints. I like that it has SPF. Not a lot of coverage but it is buildable. I think I might switch to glominerals in the future but for now I am happy. Hard to use the last of the product as it becomes a hard ring near the metal lip.
