I like the coverage, texture, and color. Looks good under my makeup and like the SPF.
I feel like this formula is even more mattifying and better for my oily skin than the Clear formula. It goes in thick so I have to work a little harder to remove it at the end of the day. I accidentally ruined my Clarisonic cleansing brush by not thoroughly removing the sunscreen. The sunscreen got caught in the brush bristles and turned them all dark. The color perfectly matches my skin, and since it is thick it looks like I have on makeup when I apply it. I really like that! However, it does eventually make my skin oily and I need to use blotters, but I have very oily skin. It does not make me break out, though. I like to use this sunscreen when my skin is too sensitive from other products.
If you have large pores and oily skin as I do, This may be for you. It serves as an excellent primer (almost like spackle) to fill in my pores and gives good sun protection as well. It can be a bit heavy, but needs to be blended in. I think this product excels in both areas.
this is the first LaRoche-Posay skin care product that I do not like, I find it hard to apply & once applied left my skin very blotchy looking.
I'm prone to redness on my face so this product sounded perfect. The initial feel is very gritty but eventually smooths out and feels creamy. It did cut down on the redness but no more than any other zinc oxide based sunscreen. In fact it leaves my face with a whiteish cast that's very unflattering. When I tried to cover it with my Koh Gen Do foundation, it made my face look very flaky and caked. I only wear it now when I'm doing yard work. Terrible product. Will never order again.
I don't usually like primers because they feel too heavy and slick. This primer is very light and has the added benefit of the SPF 50 and is also tinted. And, a little goes a long way.
