Dry, chalky feel is perfect for oily skin. I use this on my forehead and don’t get shiny at all through the day. Also it is a physical, not chemical sunblock so it stays on your skin better/longer if you sweat

great as a substitute for makeup
I feel like this formula is even more mattifying and better for my oily skin than the Clear formula. It goes in thick so I have to work a little harder to remove it at the end of the day. I accidentally ruined my Clarisonic cleansing brush by not thoroughly removing the sunscreen. The sunscreen got caught in the brush bristles and turned them all dark. The color perfectly matches my skin, and since it is thick it looks like I have on makeup when I apply it. I really like that! However, it does eventually make my skin oily and I need to use blotters, but I have very oily skin. It does not make me break out, though. I like to use this sunscreen when my skin is too sensitive from other products.
