Quality Has Changed
I've been using the entire Obagi skincare line for many, many years. All products are excellent except for this one. The formula and/or texture has changed over the last couple of years. The texture is now as abrasive as sandpaper. Makes my skin irritated.

Defective batch and formula has changed
I ordered the matte formula early this year and got one that was gritty and like a scrub when it went on your face. I called customer service and after taking a lot of pictures and having to send back the defective tube, they sent me a new one. The new one was not gritty but it was very oily like compared to the old MATTE formula. I did not find this new formula matte at all, but very similar to most greasy sunscreen. I think it still works though. Wish they stuck with the old formula.

I have used this sunscreen for many years and loved it until this last purchase! They clearly have changed the formula! It now goes on very white (a little goes a long way) and not a matte finish like before, my skin looks shiny throughout the day!! I will be on the search for a new sunscreen!

Not extremely matte—not great for oily skin
I have very oily skin and have been looking for a matte finish daily sunblock . I had hoped this was my solution and while it is better than other non-matte sunscreens, I still have a dewy glow, which is not what I need. I have been fighting dewy glow for 35 years. A little goes a very long way and I like that it can be put on in a thin layer. I just wish it was more matte after application. I will finish the tube I have, but I will not buy it again.

Definitely NOT matte, heavy and sticky
I am on a quest to find a truly matte effective sunscreen that does not feel heavy or leave my skin with shine. This is my first time using this sunscreen and I had high hopes based on previous reviews. However, it is not in anyway matte - my skin is very shiny after applying. And it feels heavy and sticky after application. I give this product two stars for its high percentages of super sunblock ingredients but I"m still looking for something that doesnt feel gross, heavy and sticky on my skin in the heat and humidity of warm weather. Maybe its good for cold weather?
