I decided to get (2) samples of the Creme & Beige and the Beige was a perfect match. I am 43-years old, acne prone and with some discolorations and with nuetral/yellow undertones. Considering the cost of the actual bottle, I was appreciatve that Oxygenetix has these samples to try first. Other makeup companies dont offer that unless you have a Sephora near you and get samples. Because of being able to try the samples, I ordered a bottle and just ordered my 2nd bottle. Love it!!!

I was so pleased to be able to test this product and color before going to a lot of expense of purchasing something wrong. If you have normal skin who wants dewy and natural look, I would recommend it. The application is clean and didnt feel like I had foundation on. I debated over Jane Iradale liquid foundation vs Oxygenetix one. So I got this sample. As I have acne prone, age spots and wrinkles, I wanted to find a right foundation to cover my acne scars and redness. I really wanted to love it but it broke me out.

I thought this was a great idea to have samples to try before I actually bought a full size bottle. Especially considering this product isnt sold at a store such at Nordstrom where I could actually go get samples first. I had just had a quite invasive spa procedure done and I had the samples overnighted to my house so I could have some coverage for the next few days and not look scary. The makeup completely covered all my redness. I liked how lightweight it was. One downside was that the samples actually had very little makeup in them. I think they could do better with filling the little sample bottles.

Foundation OR Moisturizer?
This foundation, in my opinion, was not substantial enough to cover imperfections. It actually worked as a tinted moisturizer. It was very lightweight and somewhat sticky/wet for awhile it needs to really set. It did do what was advertised in that it was comfortable and healing. I had some minor blemishes that actually calmed down instead of becoming inflamed, which most foundations seem to do. Overall a good moisturizer, but not a good foundation if youre looking for coverage.

Nice formulation but havent found the right shade yet
I ordered the color matching samples in Cream & Beige. (I had color-matching done at Sephora and Im a 3Y07). The Cream shade was too light and the Beige was a tad orange-y on me. Mixing the 2 shades was better, but I dont think I want to purchase 2 full-size bottles of this to mix them. In spite of not finding the right shade, the coverage, feel and finish of this foundation is excellent. It feels great on my skin and gives a soft matte finish.

Not Enough Product
After reading a few other review I ordered this foundation sample. My samples did not contain enough product to test. I had hoped to try each color separately and then once to blend the colors together. THis may have been an isolated experience. I just hope it doesn't happen to anyone else. I was so looking forward to making a purchase I was comfortable with using.

This is an amazing foundation. Very silky and easily applied. My reservation is the claim for rosacea coverage. I have slight reddening across my nose and I don't think this foundation covers any better than others. I still had to use concealer in addition to the foundation. However, I am going to buy this product because its one of the best foundations I have tried in years.

Samples for cosmetics especially foundation that needs a perfect match typically helps. But the samples are good for about two applications and they were not enough to truly gauge the right shade for my skin. The foundation felt good but it seems like the color gets darker as the day goes on. I thought one shade is too light and decided against it but the next shade seems to be too dark and I ran out of samples before I could really tell which one better matches my skin.

I was very happy to be able to sample this foundation at an affordable price without having to commit to purchasing a whole bottle without knowing which color was best. I have very fair skin the pearl and ivory both worked nicely for me, I felt that the ivory would work best now in the summer season and that the pearl would be best for winter. I do have some scars from past breakouts and this product sort of covered them but you did have to layer a lot of product on. I liked that it was semi-sheer though because I prefer to see a few flaws than to look like your makeup is caked on. The product looked very even on the skin and smoothed over dry areas which is rare for this foundation. I did find that when wearing this foundation on a very humid day this foundation definitely did not hide any oily-ness in the skin and I did have to reapply later in the day. Overall I would consider buying the full sized product but I still find the $66 price to be expensive and I will definitely wait until my current Origins foundation runs out.
