Tried this a while back to use something with sulfur instead of traditional acne spot treatments. This dries up breakouts but has soothing ingredients to help minimize irritation and dryness. I use a bedtime and feel it helps reduce inflammation and heal blemishes. It has a sulfur smell so I only use a bedtime.
It does help dry out the area of concern and thus control future break outs, but it also makes skin very flaky. I am going to try using it once a day to see if I can reduce the flaking.
I have used various brands of acne spot control - this one is pretty effective for the acne. I use it twice a day after washing my face. It's thick cream but not oily.
It seems to be effective at controlling breakouts and oiliness, but it has a nasty smell when you first apply it. Also, after you put it on, if you rub your skin (or put on make-up), it can "flake" off a bit. I would probably buy it again, because it works, but it definitley has some negatives.
Effectively helps get rid of blemishes without over drying the skin- doesn't leave skin tender or sensitive either.
