I like the scent, which is a faint, typical sunscreen smell. However, the texture is drying and sticky, and I burn even with regular application. I dont think its effective enough for a broad spectrum sunscreen.
If you dont mind waiting 10-15 minutes for a moisturizing sunscreen to sink into your skin, this is an ideal product. Its the best combination "cosmetic elegance," sun protection, non-irritating moisture, and price that Ive found. I have very oily skin, and this dries down to a satin finish that tolerates powder or makeup well. It doesnt migrate into my eyes, either, so Ive found it as useful for outdoor activities as for day-to-day use. The most important criterion for me is whether it breaks me out or not. This is the only higher SPF formula Ive tried that hasnt broken me out after a honeymoon period. All around fantastic product!
I have been a long time user of this sunscreen. Occasionally I will try others, but I always return to this one. It products your skin well and does not leave a greasy or milky residue. Highly recommend it for all ages and skin types.
I have been using this product for years first through a private aesthetician who is no longer in business. I was thrilled to find it on your website.
I really liked the lite and non greasey feel of this product. With spf 30 it is great for everyday use.
My usual lotion, DDF Moisturizing Dew with SPF 15, was out of stock, so I bought this alternative at the suggestion of a LS’s customer service rep. I hadn’t realized that the product is more of a sunblock than a traditional lotion that happens to have sunscreen in it, so was surprised by how thick it was (like a standard sunscreen). It takes awhile for it to absorb into the skin, but after about 15 minutes, there is no greasy feeling. This throws a bit of wrench in the spoke of my quick morning routine of slapping on lotion and going ahead with make-up, but it is worth it for the good sun protection. I’ve been using this product most mornings for about two weeks and haven’t had any breakouts or irritation on my sensitive skin. Also, I appreciate the reasonable price.
