This is a strong retinoid that does work but makes your face red. It is not for a first time user. I used a 1.0 before, but this one is stronger. I had to use it every other day and not use it on my chin where I use retin-a.

Revision Skincare Retinol Complete 1.0 works very well for my sensitive skin. It smooths and helps with texture without leaving dry, peeling patches of skin on my face. I don’t find it irritating, either. I like that it has no fragrance. The only thing that I would change about this product is the container. It’s difficult to determine when the bottle is almost empty, and the pump doesn’t come off easily to see how much is left. Because I live so far from an authorized seller, I usually run completely out before my delivery arrives. I’d love it if RS would change the packaging to address this.

This is the first time I have used a Retinol product, so I have nothing to compare it to. I can say that since I have been using it about 3 weeks, I can see a noticeable difference in the clarity of my skin. I feel like the uneven skin tone has improved as well as fine lines. It is very drying so I had to bump up the thickness of my nighttime moisturizer and skip 2 days between application for the first two weeks, I am now using every other day. Overall, I am happy with this product.

Works So Well!
I really like Revision’s Retinol. I feel as though I can use it in place of professional microdermabrasion treatments. My skin does not get irritated by it, yet there is cell turnover each time I use it. My only issue with ALL my Revision products is that you can’t tell when they are running low. I always run out and have to wait a couple of days for my order.
