I received samples of this cream after having a laser treatment over a year ago and it definitely kept my skin from drying out, but the real test was when I was trying to use a serum on my face after two prior unsuccessful episodes since it was introduced following a discontinued serum. Obviously the new serum is far stronger and more effective than it’s predecessor and my combination skin needed a powerhouse moisturizer to use in conjunction with my serum. I gave this 3 stars because I haven’t really seen any difference in my skin. To be fair I’ve only used it about three weeks and I feel you have to use a product at least three months to give it a true test. The cream is very moisturizing and feels smooth going on. Because it is from SkinCeuticals and I use other products from them which I believe have really helped improve my skin I’m hoping this will make a difference as time goes on. Since it is pricey if I don’t see an improvement in three months then I probably will not re-order but if I do then I will re-order.
