Hydra Balm is ideal for post-procedure skin. While it is heavy compared to my usual moisturizer, it protects fragile, compromised skin. I dont know if my combo skin could tolerate it during the summer however, I schedule procedures during the cooler months, so it works for me. Texture is softer and more luxurious than drug store products

Im so excited I found hydrabalm! It the only moisturizer that works for my face and now my sons face who has eczema. I just have extremely dry skin, before I used this product 5 years ago I had dry crusty unattractive skin. I now have beautiful skin :)

Skinceuticals Hydrabalm
I purchased this product while following a regimen of Skinceuticals Serum 20 AOX in the morning and a Retin A cream at night, in order to combat some significant sun damage on my face and arms. Since I have dry skin, the regimen was rather tough to follow. My face and arms both tended to become dry and itchy from the treatments. I purchased Hydrabalm hoping that it would provide deep moisturizing and help my skin tolerate the C and Retin A products. My skin proved to be quite sensitive to Hydrabalm, however, which only made the itching and irritation worse. I therefore can't recommend the product, but it may work well for someone whose skin is NOT overly sensitive to it, as mine is.
