Not great for my sensitive skin
I love using this serum, personally I enjoy the smell and it does feel calming when I apply it. I have very sensitive skin and rosacea and this was recommended by my derm. But I do notice that it tends to break me out, so I will not be repurchasing.

Not convinced it’s working
I am a huge SkinCeuticals fan but I’m honestly not sure it’s really doing much of anything. I am not really seeing an improvement adding it to my beauty regimen. I think the other products I added have done more. It didn’t really do much for me but that being said it may be a good product for others. SkinCeuticals makes top quality products.

Okay product
I started developing some redness on my face post menopause. I went to this product. The plus, a little goes a long way. Literally two drops covers the whole face. The minus. It really doesn't get rid of the red. I left some drops sitting in my hand yesterday for about a minute while I was doing something else. When I looked at my hand, it was stained green. I realized what works with this product is that green cancels out red. So it works to a certain extent but I don't believe it is corrective on a permanent basis.

Calming but underwhelming
I might have expected too much from this product, especially given its price. It does seem to calm the skin a bit -- I think it might benefit those with acute highly reactive skin than those who generally just have redness and ocassional reactivity. I tend to prefer other products for sensitive skin over this but I'm glad I tried it.

I bought this to use after a peel once approved from my health professional. I did find that it burned a bit. I have only been using it at night for the last couple of weeks. Redness has not gone away yet and the product is somewhat sticky. I have to put the epidermal repair on to soothe the skin. I am going to try it as a spot treatment and will then see if it works best that way.

I am a big fan of Skinceuticals but this gel is the first product I am not so sure of. It is very liquid so hard to get it on the special areas where I need it (redness around nose and lip), hard to apply.... It is cooling yes, but for redness I am not sure, The Redness Neutralizer which I also bought I prefer better; its much more creamy, easier to apply and I have the feeling it works better than this Phyto Corrective Gel....

I love SkinCeuticals products, but this gel is too drying for my 70 year old, sun damaged skin. I thought I could get spots/freckles off my face but it just is too much for me. I use it maybe twice a week at night, never during the day. Also, you really need a good moisturizer and sunscreen after use and that is just too many products on top of each other.

Does it cancel out red? Of course, because it’s green. Does it calm my skin? Yes, but only while it’s freshly on my skin. While I will keep this product, I’ll go back to other, less expensive products that do the same for less. Didn’t do anything for pigmentation. This is a nice lightweight gel that absorbs quickly. I've used several bottles of this, and while I do feel it may have a bit of a calming effect on my sensitive and redness-prone skin, it didn't really help with breakouts or hyperpigmentation. I think I will probably stop purchasing.

I battle redness around my mouth and nose from years of battling acne. After using this product for two months I don't feel it's done much to correct that or help calm occasional inflammation around temples. I use this in AM and PM in combination with Phloretin CF and Resveratrol. But - it does smell very light and fresh, absorbs quickly and works well under/over all other products. It may work better for others.
