I've been using SkinCeuticals Vitamin C serum for ages. I first purchased it at my dermatologist and it was a very new product back then. I got the 15% and slowly worked up to the 20%, which I tolerate perfectly. I now purchase it at LovelySkin with a discount and love that! I feel it gives me great protection and also brightens my skin and helps with spots. Never greasy. I personally could not handle the vitamin E version (too oily for me), so I just stick with the plain 20% and feel like I am getting a good product for the money.

I chose to buy this serum in particular as it has a higher vitamin C concentration (20%), which I felt my skin really needed! The pro is that it’s very quickly absorbed by the skin and lasts long without increasing sebum! The con is that it has a liquid not gel texture, so you might not believe in it because it’s rather “watery”! Apply a few drops in the palm of your hands, as if you apply it on your fingers it will spill between them!! —> Not a favorite so I don’t think I will buy it again: I would rather pay more but have an actual serum texture and effect!

I have now tried all of the Skinceuticals vitamin C serums. I don’t notice much of a difference between any of them - so with that being said if I had to choose between them all I would go with this one because it’s cheaper. It absorbs nicely into the skin, doesn’t make my other skin products and makeup pill, and gets the job done. It does have a funky smell though- almost like I’m rubbing bacon into my face.
