Sadly disappointed
I was excited to try this moisturizer. Unfortunately it is a disappointment—especially for the price. My skin felt hydrated when I first put it on but that feeling quickly dissipated. I don’t particularly like the scent either but would have accepted it if I’d liked the product. I’m not expecting miracles but I had hoped for more.

I have been using SkinMedica products for many years and overall, I have been pleased with most of the products. I received a sample of the Dermal Repair Cream product and I used it occasionally at night time and my skin felt good, not too oily. Since I wanted a heavier moisturizer at night time, I decided to order this product and started to use it everyday. Shortly after, I started to break out and my skin became blotchy. I have had clear skin for many years with an occasional breakout but nothing like this. The scent was strong and smelled like perfume. I wonder if my skin had an allergic reaction to the fragrance. Unfortunately, I won't be purchasing this product again.

Not what I expected
This was recommended by my dermatologist as a replacement for my NIA 24 product. The SkinMedica lotion is much thinner and has perfume. My skin tends to be very sensitive to added odors so it not only makes my face red and irritated, I don't find it particularly moisturizing. If anyone can recommend another product that is closer to the NIA 24 line, I'd love a tip. I am in health care and all the N95s have my face a hypersensitive mess.

My skin seemed dry, even with HA5, so I decided to try Dermal Repair after reading the glowing reviews. While this does moisturize, my skin looks irritated the day after use, red and sort of "rash-y." I've tried this 3 times now, with the same result. I do have very sensitive skin, and feel perhaps the fragrance may be causing a reaction. I rated it only 2 stars for the added fragrance and for the unhygienic packaging. So glad it works well for others!

Disappointing
I read so many good reviews about this cream i had high expectations. I have dry skin and always looking for the perfect moisturizer and night cream, this cream didn't do nothing for me, especially at night time. I have been using it for the day because it was too late to return it so i might just use it, it absorbs quickly but then leaves my skin kind of sticky, definitely not soft or moisturized.
