SkinMedica's .25 has been an easy reintroduction after going off any type of complex for at least 6 months. I was apprehensive because it had been a short time since a severe sensitive skin reaction to another brand's product, but this was used without any problems. My skin is super reactive to various ingredients, especially fragrance, but SM causes zero problems. Will move up to .5 next go round.

This is a solid product but you have to be careful with using too much too soon. Also, you may want to refrain from using this on your neckline as this gave me a rash there when I did. Perhaps the skin in that area is more sensitive than in other areas? Otherwise, it’s a good product.

No Irritation!

Can't tell if it worked
I use a HA serum that is good for "plumping", so that plus this worked together to reduce/fill in fine lines (not that I have many yet honestly at 33 years old). With that being said, I can't tell if this worked. I used it for 2 months. Maybe I should've taken before and after pics. But from the naked eye test, my face just looks clear, which is good. Wasn't a remarkable difference with the few smile lines I have. It was my first retinol cream though, and I'll say the dosage is good, because it didn't affect my skin at all, and I worked my way up to using it every night (after about 2 weeks).

Perfect "starter" dosage
Since this is my first time using retinol- in my late 30's- I was thrilled to find a product that had this dosage. So far, after only using it a handful of times, I have experience some of the expected drying. That is OK as I knew that would happen.
