Not so sure
I purchased this to use on two large incisions that resulted from a major nerve repair surgery. I love SkinMedica products so even after reading some of the other skeptical reviews, I decided it was worth a try. The size of the tube is tiny but you don't need much. This product leaves a weird residue on your skin and actually made my skin peel and itch in certain areas. I started using it about 2 weeks after surgery so maybe it was too soon. I am going to wait until 2 months post surgery and try again on a smaller spot. Maybe this is meant for smaller plastic surgery types of incisions but not so great on major scars.

Three months ago I had surgery on my throat which left a very thin red scar. I tried this product for about three weeks however it just wasn’t my formula it seems to dry and then crack which doesn’t seem like it’s doing an effective job of treating the area.
