I don’t like sunscreen. It usually irritates my sensitive skin and also usually feels so heavy, that I can’t wait to wash it off. This one seems to be lighter feeling, not smothering my skin. Therefore, it is my go to sunscreen.

Before buying this product, I was buying a different brand of a total defense product and yet another brand of facial sunscreen. I purchased this to consolidate these two steps and it lowered the overall cost I am loyal to several SkinMedica products, and I will keep buying this one. Overall, I do like the two steps with the products I had already been using, but for days I am in a hurry, this is both a more reasonably priced option and quicker to get out the door. I will definitely continue to keep this product on hand.

Not my favorite sunscreen but has multiple benefits
I found this sunscreen to be a bit thick and sticky. I do like that it is water and sweat resistant, and is a physical AND chemical sunscreen. My eyes are sensitive to chemical sunscreens and don't seem to be as bothered by this product. I read about the protection from infrared rays, and from what I gathered, the same protection can probably be achieved by layering an antioxidant serum with a non-infrared sunscreen. Because it has such a high SPF and is water/sweat resistant, I will likely wear this to the pool, rather than under makeup. I'm not sure if I would order it again, but am sure I will finish the bottle in time.

Great facial sunscreen
Since I moved to Florida I found I needed a better facial sunscreen. I decided to give this one a try since I like the idea that it protects your face from the sun but it also gives some benefit to your skin. This does not clog my skin, goes on easily and protects well. It is a little pricey thus the 4 stars instead of a 5.

Heavier than the SPF 30 version
I have tried a couple samples of the SPF 30 version of this sunscreen and loved them and purchased this SPF 50 version since the ingredients are quite similar, and I wanted more protection. However, the SPF 50 is definitely heavier in texture, leaves a stronger cast (the SPF 30 has very little cast). My face also feels somewhat tacky after applying this, and my eyes would burn if applied around the eye area. For reference, I have oily skin. In general I think this would suit people with normal to dry skin better, the ingredients would be a big plus for people with large pores/hyperpigmentations/dark spots.

This sunscreen works great. I prefer the SPF 30 because it soaks in better and goes on sheer. This one is a little cakey, but that's because it's SPF 50. I use this on areas that I need a higher SPF on my cheeks and upper lip because due to hyperpigmentation. I use the site SPF 30 on the rest of my face.

Prefer SPF 34 version for everyday under makeup use
Purchased this for everyday use under makeup for the sweat resistance and Infrared-A protection in summer. I found it leaves an undesired shiny cast to skin and tackiness which makes makeup hard to blend. Not my first choice for everyday use, but will continue to use for outdoor physical activities.

I like how long this sunscreen seems to last. I have oily skin so I don't use it on my face very often because consistency is a little heavy for me however, I use it on my neck, chest & arms everyday. I gave 4 stars because the cap & how it dispenses is a bit awkward for me (the bottom is not flat so can't stand up unless the cap is on). I will purchase it again tho because of its protective & long-lasting qualities.

Overall excellent sunscreen with infra red protection added to the UVA/UVB. Applies evenly but leaves a white cast no matter how much you rub it in. Had they used a more micronized, transparent zinc oxide it would be the perfect sunscreen.

I have noticed a difference in my skin since using this. Its a little too thick for me, and I usually have to do about 3-4 pumps to cover all my face. That being said, Im afraid I might go through it very quickly, and with its price, Im not sure Ill buy again.
