The difference from the original is an added tint, which gives a glossy, light color finish. The Hydrating LipTint SPF 15 is available in three shades: Peony, Rose, and Poppy.

The Hydrating Lip Tint SPF 15 is perfect for wearing alone or layering with a lipliner or lipstick. As a luxurious lip treatment, it works on contact. With a combination of Jojoba, Argan, Sunflower and Avocado oils, the Hydrating Lip Tint SPF 15 helps to heal dryness and soften roughness while a built-in SPF 15 helps keep lips protected from harmful UVA and UVB rays. Very sheer tint, not waxy

This review is for the Poppy color. The tint is very sheer, more sheer than the Rose tint (reviewed separately). It add the barest hint of life to my otherwise blah lips. I was hoping for more color at this price. The soft shine and the fact that the subtle tint is bright (not milky) saves it from being a complete dud for me. I use it mostly as a lip base and line/fill with a matte lip pencil to add color and take down the shine. I like the texture--neither waxy nor silicone-y slick--just moist. It feels very soft, so I dare not carry it around on a hot day.
