   Despite the name, the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo is one multitasking product formulated to clear pores and heal blemishes. To use La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo, simply apply a thin layer (approximately a half pea-size amount) each morning and evening (one time/day is also acceptable) to affected areas of the skin after applying your La Roche-Posay cleanser, toner and serum.

2. Is La Roche-Posay Effaclar safe during pregnancy?

   While some La Roche-Posay Effaclar products can be considered safe during pregnancy, the entire Effaclar line is not. As always, we recommend speaking with your dermatologist about which skin care ingredients and products are safe during pregnancy.

3. Is La Roche-Posay Effaclar good for acne?

   Since La-Roche Posay Effaclar Duo uses benzoyl peroxide, adding retinol to your Effaclar Duo routine is not recommended. Doing so can be harsh and irritate the skin.
