Eczema (atopic dermatitis) observational study
We are conducting a very important observation study to assess the long-term safety of Protopic ointment 0.03% or 0.1% in the treatment of subjects with eczema (atopic dermatitis). The study will last for 10 years; subjects will be required to come to our office each year for assessment of their atopic dermatitis and for a general physical exam. A skin check will be performed once every two years and there will be two interviews, either by phone or by a mailed questionnaire.
In order to qualify, you/your child must have been exposed to Protopic by the age of 16. You/your child must have used the Protopic to treat the eczema (atopic dermatitis) for 6 weeks, either continuously or intermittently.
Subjects will receive a $10.00 gift card after each subject interview.

Toenail fungus study
Looking to get rid of the slippers, boots, and sneakers you’ve been using to cover up your toenail fungus? Physicians are investigating an already approved oral medication, in a new nail topical form, for toenail fungus. A topical medication can be favorable since it is applied directly to the nail and may not interact with other oral medications. You may qualify for this research study if you are 12 to 75 years of age, have fungus on at least one of your big toenails, and have not treated the fungus with the following: Oral medications in the past 6 months, prescription topical medications in the past 3 months, or over the counter topical medications in the past 1 month.
