Make this Halloween magical with whimsical fairy makeup. Use soft, shimmery shades and hand-drawn embellishments to add folkloric flare to your look.
First, apply eye shadow primer to the entire lid as well as the bottom lash line to keep your color in place. Next, apply a shimmery silver eye shadow from the inner corner of your eye to the first third, wrapping the color around your tear duct and the first third of the bottom lash line.
For the next four colors, you can get creative, changing them up to contrast with your eyes or costume. Just stick with light, pastel shades and focus on blending so that you don’t get any harsh lines.
We’re starting with light pink and applying it to the entire lid. Next, apply purple to the crease, blending with the pink. A pop of green in just the center of the lid helps the eye stand out, and blending all the colors together softens the look. Finally, line the bottom lash line with the purple used in the crease.
Next, use a black liquid liner to line the top lash line, separating the line at the outer corner, and adding as many embellishments as you you’d like. Line the water line with a white eyeliner pencil to open the eye. Then, pick up a black pencil to line the bottom lash line. Keep adding as many embellishments as you’d like using the black liquid liner. You can even adorn them with costume gems and glitter. Don’t forget to add mascara to your top and bottom lashes to finish off the look!
Apply a light pink blush to the apples of the cheeks, and then add a shimmery white highlight to the cheek bones, chin and forehead. Top off your fairy makeup with a baby pink lipstick.
For fairy hair, you can pull back a few strands in front, add tiny braids, wear a flower crown, curl or straighten it—whatever makes you feel beautiful and ethereal.
Add a pair of wings and fly away into the Halloween night!
