This works really well on straight thick hair. Just make sure the hair is dry (not damped) before applying product to it, otherwise you'll have oily look.
I'm a welder in for a company in Houston and during the summers I sweat a lot in the muggy TX heat. I have used the Baxter products over the past 2 years and really like how they hold and how they clean up (all water soluble). The regular cream pomade has less of a hold but is a good product as well. I use a base of the clay pomade on my fingers before a dab of the hard cream, both together do a great job.
